Parallel to her freestyle art, Petra Růžičková specializes in portrait photography. Her subjects have included a number of top personalities: writers, musicians, theatre and film actors, and politicians. She has published her portraits in various periodicals and in the form of composed portrait cycles in books. She has photographed the writer Arnošt Lustig, the dramatist and novelist Pavel Kohout, the composer Emil Viklický, the actor Josef Vinklář, the Slovenian violinist Miha Pogačnik, the poet Jan Suk, the scriptwriter Jaroslav Vokřál, and the American music group The Klezmatics.
