Surfaces of Silence (2001-2002): A glimpse of places where time has slowed and where seemingly superfluous items are put aside. Stone Baroque monsters beyond a barbed-wire fence, snow-covered ships in a cove, scales not used for years – a world submerged in itself, well known to dreamers. These photographs were used in Věra Weislitzová’s collection of poems entitled The Daughter of Olga and Leo (Dcera Olgy a Lea). |
